7 Jesus Loves You Bible Verses

To save us, Jesus came to Earth, lived as a man, and died on a cross. But how deeply did Jesus love us?

The Bible does not instruct us to calculate this, but if we can quantify the depth of his love, we can have a clearer understanding of what he did to save us.

But if you have ever wondered about how much Jesus loves you, here are a few bible verses that throws more light on it..

He Fed The Hungry (Matthew 15:32)

“I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now for three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”

In one of the greatest miracles of all time, Jesus used five loaves of bread and two fish to feed 5,000 people

He is still feeding the world with love through the teachings of God's Word. Many of us were spiritually famished and mentally weak until the truth of the Bible reached our hearts and filled our spirits.

He Healed The Sick (Matthew 14:14)

"When He came ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick."

Jesus is still healing people today, but He isn't constrained by being in one place at one time. Jesus expresses His compassion to all those who are not only physically sick, but also emotionally and spiritually sick, through the Holy Spirit's ministry.

He Raised The Dead (John 11:43)

Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

After three days in the grave, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead! His sobs revealed his love for Lazarus and his sisters.

Jesus continues to raise the dead by providing new life to everyone who trusts in Him. His love awakens us from our slumber, futility, and stupidity.

He Raised The Dead (John 17:20-21)

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you”

In love, Jesus continues to intercede for people who are His. He's currently seated at God's right hand, praying for the church's perseverance in the face of adversity.

He casted out demons (Matthew 8:16)

“When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick”

All tormented souls are welcomed by Jesus' love, which brings them new life and release from spiritual enslavement.

He gave us the chance to identify with him (1 Peter 3:21)

“Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,”

He has bestowed upon us the gift of His righteousness, and He is not ashamed to refer to us as His brethren.  He overcame sin's stranglehold on us by His resurrection, and today, as forgiven believers in Him, He has given us the gift of a pure conscience before God.

He gave his life for us (John 3:16)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”

Because of Jesus' one sacrifice, God's love spans time and forever. Who is man that He is concerned about him? We may never fully comprehend how much God loves us through Jesus Christ, but we may receive His love for the rest of our lives.
