I used to live in constant fear of dying. You are thinking about a lot of topics. What place are you heading to? How will it feel? I no longer fear Death since I am older and have been saved by the blood of Christ. But the suddenness of Death is something I occasionally struggle with.

The unknowable element I would immediately reply “yes” if Jesus had asked me if I wanted to enter Heaven right now. But for a while, I did find unexpected Death to be frightening.

Their schemes will be futile because the Lord God is with them. God will never allow evil to enter your home; He will always guide and protect you.

Here, the term “dead” refers to a man who loves God so intensely that he denies himself everything the world has to offer, not to a man who is dead. God genuinely cares about those who give all of themselves to Him in every area of their lives.

He wants those who trust Him to believe that He alone can do anything and everything.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 – We are not to be afraid of Death.

So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Paul, here, as one of the disciples of Jesus, was faced with everyday persecution and trials, yet he never gave up his faith; he kept on doing the good work of Christ by preaching and teaching, showing his courage and trust in God.

We as believers should always know that as Christ was persecuted, so we are to be persecuted for the sake of Christ. So we are not to be afraid of Death, for it is better to die for Christ than to live for nothing.

God is always present for those who call on Him at any time and place. God created us to understand that the heart of any King is in His hands and that He has complete control over it.

Christians and believers should only fear and believe in God, the creator of the universe, not in man, whom He created. Whatever our adversary is or how powerful they are, God can deliver us all from their clutches.

We are powerless in our own right. Men who call themselves mighty and powerful have limited might and power; God has total control.

Isaiah 35:4 – Be strong, even in times of Death.

God instructed Isaiah to tell those who love and fear the Lord that they should be strong and courageous and never be afraid of the enemy, for He will save them from the hands of the enemy.

David seeing the battle God had fought for him, without his strength and power, won all His actions and is now exercising his complete confidence in God.

David, in his days, had so many enemies, yet he lived till his age. No arrow of his enemy could take his life because God was with him all time; here, David illustrates God’s faithfulness in his life that no matter where he is, he is not afraid of the enemy because God is with him.

Through the love of Jesus Christ, who agreed to die for our sins, we are redeemed from the law of sin and Death, and by having complete trust and confidence in his, we are safe.

God sent his son into the world to save man, and he made it clear that for man to get this gift of Jesus Christ shed on the cross, we must believe in Him to have eternal life.

Psalm 91:4–5 – God is your shield

God created man, and He knows all the hidden thoughts of man, and He knows their plans. You don’t have to be afraid of them because their goals will always be put to shame.

The scripture made us understand that man may propose, but God disposes. Whatever plan the enemies may have ganged up against you, if God disagrees, their goals are in vain because God has the final say.

Remember that God will not allow you to be tempted by anything more significant than you, which means that God is aware of the areas in which you need him. Regardless of how formidable the enemy of your life may appear, God still expects you to have complete confidence in Him.

Your focus should always be on God, and you shouldn’t be afraid of anyone, no matter how many, thousands, or millions they may be. Your faith should be robust in God.

Some things and areas the devil uses to get the believers are giving them a tough time and financial insecurity. Here God has promised to be our provider and to care for us; we need not be afraid.

Unbelievers and those who use Christ’s blood as a justification for leading sinful, rebellious lifestyles are the ones who should be afraid of Death. Believers should never forget that nothing can change God’s love for them.
