Heaven and eternal life are two subjects that often go hand in hand. Both concepts are biblical and both can be used as a motivational tool to know why you should live this life based off of what you believe is true.
John 3:16 – Jesus Christ was sent to save us.

This is without a doubt the most well-known verse in the Bible. It is most likely the most well-known and memorized portion of any holy text in human history. The verse is a one-sentence summary of the gospel, as well as the entire Bible’s subject line.
The life given to those who believe in Christ is “eternal,” which comes from a Greek word that means “never-ending.” To “perish”, on the other hand, is the alternative to life in Christ.

Grace, therefore, grants us the freedom to flee sin and live for righteousness. If we serve sin, we receive a reward that is due to us: death and humiliation.

John 17:3 – Eternal is a free gift.

God gives us eternal life as a free gift. Eternal life is not a reward for righteous conduct or the fruit of righteous deeds. Immortality and eternal life are not the same things. Although immortality implies that we will live forever, this is not the same as eternal life.
God promised Abraham and his ancestor’s eternal life (Genesis 17:7). According to what the Bible says, accepting Jesus Christ as Savior will grant us eternal life (John 3:16).

John 5:24 – You will be saved from death if you believe in Him.

There are various interpretations of eternal life. Some people see it as a never-ending life. Others may see it as an endless abundance of life. But one thing is certain: Eternal life begins when we believe in Jesus Christ.
The Bible is extremely clear about what happens to the wicked. They will be thrown into the lake of fire, which is described as eternal torment. Revelation 20:10 says

Building a personal relationship with God can appear impossible, especially in the early stages of your faith. After all, how do you know He can hear you if you can’t see or hear Him?
Fortunately, God established prayer as a means for us to communicate with Him—but you can also express yourself to God in other ways. While you may not be able to hear God’s voice, there are ways to listen for His guidance in your life.
Everyone has an opportunity to call on the name of the Lord and be delivered from sin, forgiven, and saved (Acts 10:43). Jews and Gentiles, and people from every nation receive God’s promise of salvation on the same basis through faith in Jesus Christ.
Whoever believes in Jesus Christ and trusts in him will be saved (Acts 16:31). “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; rather, he sent him into the world to save the world through him” (John 3:16–17).

Jesus’ body was broken on the cross, and his blood was shed for our sins. God cleansed us of our sins through his sacrifice, and he made it possible for us to have a life-long relationship with him. When we accept this, Jesus remains in us and we live forever because he lives in us.
How can we remember Jesus’ grace of forgiveness by eating his flesh and drinking his blood? At the Last Supper, Jesus taught us one way when he said, “Do this in memory of me” (Lk 22:19b).
It is important that we remember what Jesus has done by partaking in communion. This strengthens our bond with Jesus. It also connects us to one another, allowing us to grow stronger as the body of Christ.
The Holy Spirit works to breathe life into and through the words of Jesus. As a result, we cannot treat Jesus’ words as ordinary words. We must acknowledge the awesome, life-giving power of Jesus’ words.
Instead of arguing with Jesus, we should strive to accept them humbly. Then, through his word, God works in us to transform us.
Jesus is God’s Holy One. Jesus’ words are the words of eternal life. Jesus offers us his broken body, as well as his blood, shed for us on the cross: it is true food and drink that gives life to our souls. Let us feed on Jesus and enjoy true life.

Though believers are forgiven at the point of salvation, there is an ongoing need for believers to confess sin and receive forgiveness and cleansing. When we conflict with others, we create a barrier to fellowship.
Because a barrier between us and God will always be our fault, confession is essential for our relationship with God.
Forgiveness of sin implies the application of pardoning grace to a poor sensible sinner who is humbled by a sense of sin and confesses it before the Lord; for confession of sin is to be made to God, against whom it is committed and who alone can pardon.
A man who truly confesses his sin is one who has been convinced of it by the Holy Spirit, who has shown him its heinousness and filled him with godly sorrow for it.
Forgiveness of sin flows from our God’s tender mercies and is both an act of justice and mercy; of justice in relation to Christ’s blood, and of pure grace and mercy to the pardoned sinner.
All unrighteousness is sin, and to be cleansed from sin is to be exonerated of its guilt through the application of Christ’s blood for pardon.
Matthew 7:21-23 – True believers are the good trees that bear good fruit.

Not all miracles are from God, and not all people who perform miracles in Jesus’ name are truly His.
In Matthew 7, the Lord calls the men “evildoers” because the miracles they performed were the result of evil, and they were too blind to see it. As the end times approach, Jesus warns us to be wary of deception (Matthew 24:24).
True believers are the good trees that bear good fruit (Galatians 5:22-23), the true sheep who look to Christ for righteousness, salvation, and eternal life, and who rely on Him, commit themselves to Him, trust in Him, and believe in Him.
These are the ones who will enter the kingdom of heaven, to live eternally.

Many times, we seek assurance of salvation in the things that God does in our lives, other times in our spiritual growth, the works that we do, and how we obey God’s word in our Christian lives.
It is critical to understand that, while these things are evidence of salvation, they are not the basis for assurance of salvation.
However, we should seek this directly from God’s word. We must be confident and trusting that we are saved because of God’s promises, not because of our subjective experiences.
Knowing this gives us hope that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. There are no prerequisites, but only those who seek and know Him will be saved.
According to the Bible, we can do nothing to earn our salvation, but it is only through God’s grace that we can be saved if we have faith in Him. When we receive salvation, our lives are transformed as a result of accepting Jesus Christ into our lives.
This is motivated by a desire to live a God-pleasing life. Our salvation is founded on God’s perfect and total salvation provided to us through Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Christ gives his sheep eternal life; he gives them a life of grace that culminates in eternal life. He gives them to them, and whoever has him has eternal life. So hold fast to this hope, this anchor of the soul, and let it sustain you in the midst of whatever trial you may be facing. God’s love is everlasting, and nothing can ever change that.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This means that if you have accepted Christ into your life, you have eternal life. You will spend eternity in heaven with Christ.
This is good news for those who have been struggling with sin or feeling condemned. If you have been feeling condemned, know that there is now no condemnation for you. You are free from condemnation.
If you have not yet accepted Christ into your life, now is the time. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Eternity is a long time. Spend it in heaven with Christ. Accepting Christ is easy.
Just pray and ask God to forgive you of your sins. Then ask Christ to come into your life. It’s that simple. Don’t wait. Do it today.
John 6:37-40
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. The news is that there is a way to have eternal life and to be with God in heaven. This is possible because Jesus came down from heaven to do the will of his father. And part of that will was to give eternal life to those who believe in him.
No matter what we go through in this life, we can have hope knowing that there is something better waiting for us. So if you’re feeling lost or alone, know that you are never alone and that Jesus is always with you.

There is nothing more precious than eternal life, and it is our great hope and desire that all might experience it. Jesus tells us in John 5:24 that whoever hears his word and believes in him who sent him has eternal life. This is a great promise and one that we can take comfort and hope in.
We know that this life is but a brief moment and that what awaits us is eternal life in heaven. This is our hope and desire for all people, that they might know the joy and peace of eternal life.
This is a great comfort to know that those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ will never have to face judgment. They have already passed from death to life and will spend eternity in heaven with Him.

The Bible tells us that those who have trust in Jesus Christ will inherit heaven and eternal life. And I am confident that the One who began this good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ’s return.
What a wonderful hope we have! Knowing that our future is secure in Christ gives us strength to face whatever challenges come our way in this life.
So let us Fix our eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith, and run with endurance the race that is set before us. Heaven and eternal life are waiting for us, and I am rejoicing in the hope of what is to come.

This verse is a reminder that because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, we are now perfected and sanctified before God. We don’t have to keep trying to earn His approval because we already have it.
This is such a freeing truth! We don’t have to strive to be good enough or worry that we’re not measuring up. We can rest in the knowledge that we are already perfect in God’s eyes.

As Christians, we believe that when we die, we will be with God in heaven. This is not just a nice idea, but a promise from God himself. In the Bible, Jesus tells us that he is going to prepare a place for us in heaven and that he will come back to take us there to be with him forever.
