Proverbs 12_1

You need someone to teach you if you want to gain more. Your mind will be surrendered to them. You acknowledge their knowledge-based superiority.

You acknowledge your inadequacy. You have to accept your mistakes or ignorance.

To be able to receive correction when you are wrong, you must be humble. The Bible say ‘you are stupid’ and you will not advance in knowledge if you hate being corrected or told you’re incorrect.

Romans 1:22

Claiming to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:22(ESV)

Romans 1_22

Men claimed to be intelligent, but they revealed themselves to be dimwits.

Every man is aware of God, the only one who can provide true wisdom and understanding, but because of his arrogant reluctance to embrace the truth and exalt God, man has chosen a road that will ultimately result in his eventual death, destruction, and separation from God.

Paul encourages us to acknowledge God as the source of all wisdom and knowledge rather than to think of ourselves as wise because doing so makes us appear stupid.

Proverbs 14:16-18

A wise one is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless. A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

Proverbs 14:16-18 (ESV)

Proverbs 14_16-18

A wise man possesses a fear of God, which is the basis for wisdom and the fulfilment of all of man’s obligations. But the fool is filled with impulsive rage and false assurance.

God is near to those who fear Him and have humble hearts, but He is opposed to foolish people who think they are wise. Be humble and fear God, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Proverbs 14:7-9

Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deceiving. Fools mock the guilt offering, but the upright enjoys acceptance.

Proverbs 14:7-9 (ESV)

Proverbs 14_7-9

Solomon tells us to stay away from fools since they are all around us. Education and intelligence have nothing to do with it since a stupid man will talk instead of listening and learning.

They are those who have little regard for either God or the accuracy of the Bible. They have faith in their ideas.

A wise person has faith and with faith, he starts to reason from the premises that God exists, the Bible is true, and he is a sinner.

In the same way that you can spot fools by the absence of knowledge in their speech, you can spot clever individuals by their knowledgeable speech.

Psalm 14:1

To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, and none does well.

Psalm 14:1(ESV)

Psalm 14_1

Denying God is wrong, and doing so is frequently accompanied by living a sinful lifestyle. There are a lot of bright atheists.

Nobody’s lack of intelligence or intelligence itself causes someone to reject God.

A person’s rejection of religious faith is a result of their lack of righteousness. It is foolish to attempt to disprove the existence of God; only an impious, sinful heart will do so.

Proverbs 28:26

Whoever trusts in his mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.

Proverbs 28:26(ESV)

Proverbs 28_26

Because they trusted their hearts, many of the men in the Bible fell. Your heart has strong feelings about almost any subject, and it has a fierce yearning for anything it wants.

Your heart has the power to keep you awake due to envy or hatred as well as to soothe you to sleep regarding things it deems insignificant.

In our day and age, doing so is quite acceptable. True wisdom, however, is the ability to ignore your heart’s guidance and mistrust it.

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and do not rely on your understanding instead of going after your heart.

2 Timothy 2:23-24

Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,

2 Timothy 2:23-24 (ESV)

2 Timothy 2_23-24

In this verse, we are admonished not to act like foolish men who foment arguments.

The Spirit is to empower us so that we can teach the truth in love to everyone who disagrees with us while also providing wise guidance and biblically based truth.

We must refrain from arguing while sharing the gospel with others. May we emulate Christ’s gentleness, grace, goodness, and patience with everyone.

Jeremiah 4:22

“For my people are foolish; they know me not; they are stupid children; they have no understanding. They are ‘wise’—in doing evil! But how to do good they know not.”

Jeremiah 4:22 (ESV)

Jeremiah 4_22

Everyone who does not fear God does not know Him. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. Everyone who doesn’t know Him is stuck in their ignorance.

Even though they reject God, atheists can still act wisely; nonetheless, they cannot become truly smart. Being ignorant of God means being dumb, and stupidity produces evil as a result.

Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?

Psalm 94_8

This passage is intended to provide teaching and comprehension of God to the thoughtless and foolish, but a stupid man is too stupid to listen.

The psalmist attempts to explain the marvel of God’s workmanship in the later verses. God is so wise that He is even aware of what men and women think. This great God deserves to be revered, feared, and obeyed.

John 3:16-17

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him.

John 3:16-17 (ESV)

John 3_16-17

God understood our helplessness. God could have abandoned us to our demise while watching us harm, manipulate, use, and kill one another.

Because of our stupidity, He could have been repulsed and turned away in disgust, but instead, out of compassion for us, His creation, He sent His Son so that we might once again experience life.

Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. I now give you everything just as I gave you the green plants.

Genesis 9:3 (NIV)

God may have allowed man to choose the type of meat he would like to eat, but after Adam disobeyed, he was warned: “Cursed is the ground because of you; in toil, you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you… by the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until you return to the ground.”

Deuteronomy 25:4

Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”

Moses expresses worry about how household animals are treated in this verse. The ox was a sizable, domesticated animal that was perfect for farming tasks like ploughing.

This regulation may have been added by Moses to underscore the idea that, while an animal was deserving of compassion, a person made in the likeness of God was deserving of much more.

Leviticus 11:9

“These you may eat, of all that are in the waters. You may eat everything in the waters that has fins and scales, whether in the seas or the rivers.

Leviticus 11:9 (ESV)

Again, the law was straightforward: any aquatic animal with scales and fins was edible. Based on this theory, all fish were regarded as clean, except species without scales like the catfish.

Due to the lack of scales and fins on clams, crabs, oysters, and lobsters, shellfish would be dirty.

These were to be regarded as an abomination and not be eaten by these dietary regulations given to Israel.

We are warned against emotional instability, stupid gullibility, and immature spirituality.

We are not to become intoxicated with wine since it causes a lot of things that are disrespectful to the Lord.

Instead, the Holy Spirit, who is the source of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, is to dominate or regulate us.
